I still want to head to the ea...Hi Wayne and Craig,
I still want to head to the east coast this late summer and figured the trip from California to the northeast will be about 6,500 miles round trip. We, too, get about 7.0-7.5 mpg average and diesel here in California is $4.29. A rough estimate is that we will need about 928 gallons.

I might have set up windmills on the roof or hitch-up to the back of an 18 wheeler! LOL! The Honda gets 28 mpg on the hwy, I wonder if it could push the MoHo all the way to NYC! :o)

MarkandCraiginPalmSpringsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20429053.post-64568077571583957592011-03-08T09:32:46.587-05:002011-03-08T09:32:46.587-05:00Glad to hear your travel fund will see you through...Glad to hear your travel fund will see you through. We're having to play it by ear for each trip, since diesel could be $5 a gallon this year. :/
Kind of annoying that diesel prices were lower than regular until we bought our truck three years ago. I wish Murphy would move out. ;)

You guys have a great day!LindaGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12203719919661519350noreply@blogger.com
