Happy New Year!

Good morning and Merry Christmas!

Here's a few pics of our decorated community center.........

They really did a very nice job making it look so festive. Almost makes me want to go and work out more often.   Almost. :-)

And here's some pics from my morning walk around our community....

We're glad to see this year over, but next year isn't looking a lot better as of right now. But we can hope this virus thing gets defeated and we can get back to a more normal life. Although we really can't complain that much. Everything is open. At least we're not having to work all day with a mask. And we pretty much can do whatever we want to do. And....we have our health. So, we are blessed.

Wishing everyone a healthy happy New Year!

Merry Christmas!

Good afternoon.
This is a heavy picture post, since I haven't posted in a while. :-)
We got the yard decorated for Christmas, and invited some neighbors over for the official lighting......

And a couple of days later, I finished decorating the inside of the house.....
That's a Christmas screen saver I put on the TV to add to the holiday mood.
And my Crystal Forest campground....

So, we're all ready for the holidays!
And yesterday, we went down to Fremont street with Dan and Daniel for some afternoon people watching and lunch at Nacho Daddy's.
Fremont street never disappoints when it comes to people watching. And for a Friday afternoon, it was very busy! But it's a weekend, and the Wrangler NFR Rodeo is in town. So, we saw a lot of cowboy hats, boots and very large belt buckles.   :-)
That, and all the interesting street performers.  🙄

But it's always a good time downtown, and nice to drive back to our quiet community. Living in such an exciting city has many opportunities for things to do, if you want to.
And with the mild weather, we've had several driveway get togethers.  I don't know why our house has to be the local hangout spot for many of our neighbors, but I'm happy they like coming over.
So, life is good in the desert!
