boring busy

Good morning.
Well, it's been another busy uneventful week in the Salon. And in a couple of hours, I'll be back there again.
The weather has been hot and dry. The last few weather systems that went through have gone just south of us, so no rain here for the last 3 weeks. The grass is getting pretty brown. I keep the flower beds watered, but it's not the same as rain water. Still, they look pretty good.
And our bridge on the road I'd like to take to work is still not open. The sign had originally said Aug. 6th, but it's not. I really dislike the long way to work, but I'm sucking it up as I've got no other way. There's sooo much road construction going on in the Lansing area, it's impossible to go anywhere easy. Even the highways on both sides of town are under a 2 year reconstruction. Must be all that stimulus money.
Anyway, not much else going on around here, but I'm hoping for a nice weekend away from the Salon this week....I hope.
