Just a quickie this morning.
We went to Muskegon yesterday to visit my Mom. It was an early birthday visit. We went to Red Lobster for lunch and then to the 'club'.
Mom seems to have embraced public transportation. There's 3 different services for seniors she can use. One will take her only to medical appointments, and doesn't cost anything. One will take her to the 'club' and it's $3 each way. It's the same with the store. Another will only take her within the city limits, (the 'club' is in North Muskegon) but it's only $1.50 each way, and that will take her to stores and another 'club' she belongs to.
I'm quite impressed she has it all figured out as good as she has. But Mom has always been very independent, and I knew she was going to be okay with out a car.
