Good morning.
And a happy Black Friday to those that partake in such stuff. :-)
We had a very nice, relaxing Thanksgiving. The Turkey was excellent as usual and so were the mashed potatoes and gravy, and scalloped corn and stuffing.
Of course, also as usual, I ate too much. But I do love my turkey! :-)
We watched the parade, and played on the puters. I checked out mo-ho's that I could never afford, and played games. It was a good day.
And back to work this morning. It's not real busy today and tomorrow, but I'd rather be there, then out shopping with the ridiculous crowds. I read yesterday that someone set up a tent outside Best Buy on Tuesday evening to be the first one to get in the store Friday morning. They obviously have way more time on their hands than money. I can't think of anything worth camping in this weather for 3 nights. Oh well, it's 6:30 am as I write this and there's probably thousands of people out at the stores right now. Not me!
And so, it's time for my shower and off to work.
Have a safe weekend!
Happy Belated T-Day and Happy B-Friday! I agree...work would be preferable to shopping! The Best Buy deal may have been a knock-off on the group that sat up a tent in front of a Best Buy in Tampa 9 (NINE) days before Black Friday!! They took turns staying in the tent and used the bathrooms at Best Buy until they closed at night and then walked to a nearby CVS pharmacy (open 24 hours!) after that! Best Buy did give the two women each an I-pad or I-pod or some kind of an "I" thing!! Too crazy!
ReplyDeleteDinner sounded great...I made about the same meal for 12 people...exhausted today! Love ya and take care!

No crowds or shopping for me, either. I'm with you!
ReplyDeleteI never shop on Black Friday if I can help it. People are often rude enough year round without the extra rudeness that seems to abound today.
ReplyDeleteGlad you guys had a great Thanksgiving! :)
