Oregon Waterfalls

Also on the way to Mt Hood,
we passed by many waterfalls!










Another reason
the Columbia is so large.



I'll post some of them here for
your viewing pleasure.

The first one is called Horsetail Falls.


I believe it's because at horse shows
they tie the tail at midsection to
keep it looking neat. And this
one had a narrow
spot near the middle.


We saw dozens,
most were very tall
and narrow.



but after awhile,
they all started to look the same.


But it was a very nice day,
and a nice drive thru
the hills and woods.



Lots of different ferns all over the hillsides!



Craig got a little tired of all the hiking,
so it was good that alot of them
were near the road.

Oregon is truly a beautiful state!

Of course, you really
need to like the rain,
because they get it almost
nonstop from mid
October to mid May!
