the mo-ho TV

Just a quick post. (work is sooo busy!)
But we spent just about all of Tuesday
replacing the TV in the mo-ho.
As you can see in the pics,
it has to fit in the space provided,
which means we had to find
one the same size as the last.
Well, almost no one sells standard TV's anymore.
They are all the expensive thin LCD's or Plazma's.
Which I'd love to have,
but in my home, not in the mo-ho we only use a limited time each year.
But we finally found one very similar at Walmart.
But of course not similar enough to just put in and done.
We had to modify the brackets that keep it from
sliding out while bouncing down the road.
But we finally figured that out.
I'll have more flower pics on my ff post tomorrow.

  1. Glad you were able to find what you needed. Now hopefully it lasts for years because the next time you may need one you may not be able to find one.

  2. I am amazed that nothing can be replaced, repaired, fixed, modified, or anything else any more. Everything has changed, migrated, been made new and improved, etc.....and it's horrible. I'm glad it all worked out for you!

Wayne, I had to replace both of my Direct TV units as one had burnt out and the other one was about to. They both would get so hot you couldn't put your hand on them. We had waited for almost a year before we connected the satellite as we really didn't need it. Since our coach came with system and it was about to go out of warranty, I wanted to make sure it worked and it does.

We are going to see J and D in St. Louis in a couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to meeting them as I have read their blog for so long. Since I'm reading yours, it would be nice to meet you guys too sometime.
