Hello again. Another bitter cold Sunday morning, 16 degrees out as I went to clean the Salon. Shooting for a high of 39. The warmest in over a week! But still about 10 degrees below normal. Oh well.
Yesterday, my last 2 appointments never showed up. I don't know how you can make an appt. and 2 days later for get it. Fortunately, this doesn't happen very often.
On the way home, Craig stopped at the local video store and rented a movie for the evening. It was Journey to the Center of the Earth. A mildly entertaining flick, but I wouldn't pay to see it in the theater. We also had home made Taco's. Yummy!
Oh, and our Michigan State Spartans got clobbered by Penn State, but we end the season 9-3. Still a good season and a new years day bowl game.
Today, we'll probably lay low and not do much of anything. Tomorrow, we go to Muskegon to see my Mom.
And that's all I got!
Later!
It certainly was an exciting season. I wish that had happened when I was there. Although I hold my head up high amongst the Fighting Irish down here, I do feel their pain. The kind not caused by snow balls!
ReplyDeleteAnd speaking of tacos, I love to make BBQ chickn (or pork or whatever else you want) ones. I bake chicken tenderloins/breasts in the oven for 45 minutes with half salsa and half BBQ sauce on them. Then i chop them up and serve with chopped cabbage, red peppers, onions, and as many veggies as I can find. And top with a bit of the remaining sauce from the baking dish. We like our whole wheat shells and fat free sour cream.
ReplyDeleteI'm not into the football thing (other than watching some tight ends) so I could not car ewho won yesterday. Of course, I am in the minority around here. My one BIL, who bleeds blue and white - along with his entire family - is bonkers.
ReplyDeleteWayne and Craig, you need to 'un-winterize' your motorhome and drive west to Palm Springs! It's sunny and warm!
