As promised,
a few pics of our outdoor decorations.
We didn't put up a lot this year,
It varies from year to year,
depending on the weather and our moods.
It's a good thing we did what we did
when we did,
because the weather has turned cold,
and appears it will stay that way.
I HATE THE COLD!
But anyway....
the bright discs of lights in the front windows,
are actually snowflakes with twinkle lights.
But the pic makes them look like glowing globs.
Then we have a small tree and 4 bushes out by the road.
We put a different color on each.
We string multi-colored lights on the inside.
Makes them look like stained glass.
Of course, click on the pics to see better.
My next post will be the Salon's decorations.
I like how the glass block looks. The shrubs/trees are nice with solid colors. I like the colored lights more than just plain white.
ReplyDeleteThat's a neat effect with the glass block windows on either side of the door!
ReplyDeleteif you came here where it is WARM it would be wonderful. there are lots of decorations too. bring the moho and see!

Your home is beautiful--very tastefully decorated inside and out!
ReplyDeleteLookin' good, boys. Really nice.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah! Ben would LOVE to see the lights. We have NO outdoor lights...but I prefer no lights as opposed to them staying up year round. hehe

Great decorations!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice looking place!
ReplyDeleteDamn that yard brings back BAD memories of home.:) It's huge! Fortunately, as far as yard work is concerned, mine is rather small.
ReplyDeleteThe decorations look great!
You don't like the cold? What's wrong with you?
I especially like the stained glass effect on either side of the door. That last pic also gives a better idea of what the snowflakes look like. Very nice, Wayne.
ReplyDeleteI like the lights, I'm often too busy until 2 days before christmas to put up lights.
