March Madness!

Okay.....I know we can get all kinds of weather in March in Michigan. But we have had only one, and it's cold! Today's high is 34 degrees. that's 12 degrees below normal!
And it's been that way all month, and looks to be that way for the rest of the month too!
We usually get a few nice days in March so I can get out in the yard and do some Spring cleaning. But not this year. And it's been an unusually l-o-n-g winter. It started snowing in early November and stayed. I barely got my last mowing of the leaves done! Snow doesn't usually stick till after Christmas!
And in February, we had a record snow fall. The snowiest February on record! Ever!
Is Spring ever coming?
What happened to global warming?
Okay.......I got that out.........feel better now. A little.
But, on a happy note,
Our Michigan State Spartans beat Pitt to advance to the Sweet 16! Yaaa!

    Scary picture. ;)

You must have stolen our winter, it mostly passed us by completely.
    We are having a drought.

Well, March is definitely going out like a lion for you.

We're going to Georgia next weekend. Bob is finally coming home. :)

  4. I love cold weather. :)
I'll admit that the sub-zero stuff kinda chilled me this year, more than usual.
Somehow it does seem that this winter has lasted a long time!

Still, I would much rather be too cold than too hot. I'm counting my blessings. Big Bad Summer is only a few months away!

  9. So that's what hermits look like. you'll be outside and playing soon enough. You need to come to Houston and see some B Ball this weekend. I promise you NO snow will be seen and temps in the 70's atleast.

  10. Wayne,
Sweetie, you and Craig need to use your built in winterizing tools ( tires) and head south. I wont torture you with the weather we're having, just trust me !
