the best brisket!

For this Cooking with Craig edition,
I'm sharing his wonderful Corned Beef Dinner!
This is the most tender tasty Corned beef you'll ever eat!

2 Cups water
1 Cup Chopped Onion
1 Cup Chopped Carrot
1 Cup Chopped Celery
1 Bottle Guinness Stout Beer
1 Can Low Salt Beef Broth
2/3 Cup brown Sugar
1 Can Tomato Paste
1 Tablespoon Dill Weed
6 Black Peppercorns
2 Whole Cloves
Combine everything in a slow cooker.
Top wit 3 lbs Corned beef Brisket. (trimmed of fat)
Cook on high 8 hours

And with it we had fried cabbage, and boiled Potatoes. And enough for leftovers! And they say to discard the broth, but we strained it into 4 pint containers, froze them and will use the broth for rice, mashed potatoes or anything you'd use water for.

Also on Sunday besides making this wonderful dinner, we changed the tires on his PT Cruiser, (took off the snow tires), did our walking, and watched our Spartans advance to the Sweet Sixteen!
