Just for Fun

Ran across this on another Blog. Metacafe has TONS of video clips.www.metacafe.com/
Some hilarious and some stupid. Thought this one was funny. Click twice on the arrow to start.

Not Yet!

No Rabbits yet! I've seen more tracks, but not where I put the traps, so had to move them and re-bait them.
But I'll get them!

And if I do, this is what I'll do to them!
String them up by their ears!
Well,...... I'd like to do that, but, I'll just
be nice and relocate them.
Maybe I have an aggressive,
obsessive thing I need to deal with!

KILL THE RABBIT!

After the freezing rain and snow, I went out to pick up all the branches that broke out of the trees. We have two large Chinese Elms. They are very twiggy and brittle trees. They will drop branches if you look cross eyed at them, I swear! Anyway. Hauling them back to the burning pile, I noticed RABBIT TRACKS! You may think, so what? But unless your a gardener, you don't understand. My entire back yard is enclosed with chicken wire, to keep critters out. But occasionally some get thru. I've planted a vast quantity of unusual plants and shrubs. Rabbits will eat most anything in the winter, and as I've found, they will, EAT THEM TO THE GROUND! So,
I MUST KILL THE RABBITS!
Actually, I live trap them,
and put them in my
Wayne Relocation Program!
I take them very far away
and release them on other
unsuspecting people.

Here's a pic of the traps I've set.
I'll update this when I've caught
the little Bastards!

OH, and for those city folks who
don't know what a Rabbit
looks like, here's a pic of the
little bastard!
You wouldn't think that they
could eat that much, but they are
VERY HUNGRY!

Decenber 2nd

This post is for all those people who aren't
able to enjoy Michigan's winters, and the
beauty of snow!

As you know from the last post,
I woke up to sleet and freezing rain.
But we didn't get as much snow as predicted,
(Thank God!),
but what we got clung to everything!

There is a special beauty to snow as it
transforms the landscape.

The first pic is a golf course across the
street from my house. The other two
are of my back yard.

Click on the pics for a larger view,
and see what your missing!

Friday December 1st.

Woke up this morning to the sound of sleet hitting the windows. Turned on the weather channel to find the worst is yet to come. All the rain we got yesterday has turned to ice! And they're predicting a lot of snow for later. Looks like I'll have to get ready for work early, to get all the ice off my truck, and take my time driving. Glad I've got four wheel drive!

Sure wish I was in Florida or Arizona!
