And still more daylilies

Good morning.
Yesterday was a dreary, cloudy, humid day. And I pretty much felt the same. So I was pretty much a slug. Did a little weeding, and watering, but not much else. We spent most of the afternoon just chillin on the deck with cocktails, enjoying the yard, and talking.
I did make a tasty dinner of barbecued chicken, baked potatoes, and asparagus.
We did finally receive a call from the ford dealer in the afternoon, and as I suspected, the jack needs to be replaced. They were able to order a rebuild kit, that will save me some money since the jacks come in pairs if purchased new. They said it should be done Friday. It will be nice to have it working properly.
And here's some more daylillies I've got blooming. Didn't I say I have over 50 varieties?

And now, it's time for another work week.

  1. How do you manage to care for them all?

  2. How do you BBQ your chicken so that it cooks through? Do you use indirect heat? Mine always burns before it's properly cooked, haha.

Love your flowers as always! Have a great week!

  3. You are certainly the king of daylilies! Some truly beautiful varieties.

It's 105 and humid here today. So, I am inside creating a larger blogger's butt! Weather like this makes you sluggish. But maybe that is what the hottest part of summer is for. It makes you slow down and kick back.

    Cheers!
