A sycamore post

Good morning.
The heat wave continues.....91 yesterday with the same forecast for the rest of the week.
While Craig did his usual laundry and bookkeeping, I did manage to do a lot of weeding and deadheading despite the heat. Just took it slow. :-)
I also cleaned and filled the birdbaths.
Here's some pics of our still fairly young Sycamore tree.

See all the debris on the grass?
It's peeling bark, falling from the branches as they grow.
It does make for a mess, but that's also what gives the tree it's unique mottled look.
You can see up into the tree and see the bark coming off the branches.
This will last for a few weeks. The peeled bark is easily mowed up.
Dinner was ham steaks, steamed cauliflower, and mashed potatoes.
And that's all I got for today.
