settling in.

Good afternoon.
It's been a beautiful sunny day today, just as the last  10 days were and the projected next week will be.   :-)
Here's a few pics of the home, now that we have it pretty much together.....

It's feeling very homey right now. The kitchen and living room are fairly open. Just a short wall to divide them. And 10 ft ceilings. The pictures on the wall above the couch are dried pressed leaves from different plants in my yard back in Michigan I did a number of years ago.
Today, we ordered a washer and dryer. will be a week or so before delivery. The ones we have now are really basic. What the builder put in. And I've made a couple of appointments with landscapers to redo the back yard. I've also been spending time online (now that I finally have internet) and changing addresses for everything. So still fairly busy. But we have walked every day. And today I'm cooking pork steaks on the grill. We also bought a kale, mango and blueberry salad to try. I'll let you know what I think of that.  :-)
